Human sardines in Europe
I laughed about this one, but funny as it sounds we have human sardines loitering the streets of America. In simple terms, sardine is a tightly packed fish in a container. It contains about three pieces of fish that are usually put in air tight containers. With the current rate of migrants who have fled the comforts of their homes to European countries to seek for greener pasture. Can we call them sardines? Maybe not yet. Well, what do you call someone who after leaving his country will stay in an internally displaced persons (IDP) camps?. They stay there for a long period of time. How about people who stay about five to ten in a small apartment just to survive in a foreign land. Not to mention those who are under paid and those who pick up degrading jobs just to earn a living. Why I'm of the opinion that man should struggle to survive, I'm also of the opinion that there should be dignity of labour.
